I posted hours ago and I never came up. Anyhow, update time. There appears to be no infection which is great. The problem appears to be that the device has moved and is causing the pain. I am having surgery in two weeks. The device will be removed and implanted in a different location. Since I have had such good results in eliminating the sciatica, he wants to keep it in there. I agree. It's going to be another outpatient procedure but he is going to use general anesthesia this time. He doesn't want to hear me running my mouth again, I am certain. I guess I will stay with Abigail for a few days, post op, during the worst of the post op discomfort. Things are looking up and I can bite the bullet a little longer.
