yes- i use a soft roller as part of my pt everyday.mostly lying on my chest then 3/4 on my underarms and then 90 degrees on my side. I also use a pinky ball on a stick and a karate strap to stretch my scalenes and traps. I will be going to a melt method seminar in May to learn some more tequniques. I also saw it on the TOSsociety web page. I would recommend it-much gentler than a theracane.
