I wonder if the cerebellar skrinkage is not from a thyroid problem since u mentioned the goiter. I know it can cause this to occur. Im also neck fusion patient had it done in 2010 c4 thru c7. I would always try to get 2-3 consults before this surgery. I also would suggest if you get copies of your MRI or scans some people chose to post them on the spinal forum here --just for feedback. Im sorry that your in pain right now. Please feel free to post any ? you may have in regards to fusion surgery.
