I used to be able to use some computer games to regain some processing abilities. I played a lot of Freecell. I could finish one Freecell game in 37 seconds. My daughter competed with me. I also played Minesweeper. It has memory challenges.
Now, if I try to play them for more than a few minutes, I get brain fatigue and crash.
I used to read a lot, too. Now, I have to be very careful how much reading I try to do. I know the signs of fatigue and stop at the first sign. Pushing through does not help.
I did some Posit Science exercises (like Lumosity) but did not find them to be helpful.
