I have like many of your idiopathic SFN.

I have found Gralise to work well for me. Gabapentin causes severe constipation but Gralise does not. Unfortunately, since Jan 1. my company insurance formulary no longer covers it, but it looks like Horizant might.

Gralise is listed as just Gabapentin ER, whereas Horizant is listed as Gabapentin Enacarbil ER. I don't know what that means exactly.

What seems to be the difference between these two drugs? Can anyone tell me if it worked? Has anyone tried both?
