Hi Bigpede

Sorry that you find yourself on the forum. I also have a paralysed left hemi diaphragm and partially paralysed right hemi-diaphragm. Mine is not believed to be in as a result of surgery. Have you had phrenic nerve testing? The reason I ask is that hopefully it may be just bruising to phrenic nerve and that it may recover. Some times, it can take take some months for bruised phrenic nerve to recover. I am only speaking in simplistic terms.
I hope that you are experiencing too many symptoms. I know that many people live quite normally unaware that they have hemidiaphragm elevation.

I hope your surgery went well and that you have a good recovery and symptom abatement.
