My MG is mostly ocular and often just ptosis. I have double vision on occasion and I also have trouble focusing, especially in dim lighting. I wear glasses and my prescription and vision quality seems to change depending on when I last took mestinon. I asked my neuro doc about this and he said the muscles for focusing eyes aren't affected by MG.

I might just need new glasses and am having strain issues, but maybe not. For those on mestinon with glasses, do you take a pill right before your eye exam, or perhaps not? How can I get the right prescription if my vision is unstable due to MG?

It's kind of a practical question. Not such a big deal but if I get new glasses, I'd like them to do the best job possible with the ups and downs of MG.
