I had my eyes checked by a "standard" optician / optometrist a month after my injury. Although I sat their with my eyes streaming because of the lights in her office, she could find little wrong.

A year later I went to a specialist and she could see within a few minutes what was wrong. I now have my first ever pair of glasses with special lenses to help focus my eyes to a set point in front of me. There is a period of vision therapy to follow.

I would recommend all people with head injuries to have an in-depth eye exam. Even if they find nothing wrong at least it is one less worry to have.
