Hi, thanks for your reply

The dental specialists all work together.

She used the Air Flow cleaning unit plus did a lot of scaling manually and disinfected the root area. She went up through the inside of my mouth as that was where the pocket is. No laser I believe.

Fortunately there isn't any gum receeding around the tooth. Advised me to floss and never eat anything hard or sticky ever again! Plus another visit in 3 months if all is stable, earlier otherwise.

The tooth feels good so far.

I have periodontal issues on the upper jaw but addressed this with 3 extractions a few weeks ago. I hope now I will be free of continual use of antibiotics now I have removed the bad teeth. Will see how the front one goes but I will never put up with infections again, now you've educated me.

I'll be addressing bone grafting at the end of the year but in the mean time the prosthodontics doctor made me a couple of great bridges to cover the gaps.

Ok, so there's a tiny bit of hope

Thank you Bryanna, have a good day.

Sue
