Hi Shelley, Thanks for your words of encouragement. I had My surgery done in Pittsburg Pa. I had a pulmonary function test done about 4 months before surgery, but no nerve test on phrenic however back then i didnt have any problem with my diaphram. I am going to get a referal to a neurologist, hopefully.hope all is well with you. Bigpede
