As for your question: I stopped only 3 days before the test because my appointment was sooner than I had anticipated. So it may be artificially high, but I have no intention to stop taking the B12/D3 anyway.
3 days may be enough. Just to get the vitamins out of the serum and into tissues.

Quitting smoking will improve your circulation so that is a very good move. Good luck!
