There are over 300 functions for magnesium alone in your body.
B12 also has many jobs. There might be some overlap, but they both are critical nutrients. Magnesium works to relax muscles, and block excessive pain receptor activity (NMDA) and as a cofactor in fatty acid metabolism. Magnesium is essential to proper mitochondrial functions (energy production).
B12 has many jobs too, one of which is to repair myelin in the nervous system.
I would really try and use a higher dose of that B12. So little is absorbed orally you need a high dose daily to keep up with it.
