Default Vitamin D deficiency

Hello all,

I used to post on here from time to time when suffering from PCS. I did recover well in the end (so it is possible, I know sometimes it feels like it isn't!).

Anyway, thought I'd post something that might be helpful?.

I was recently diagnosed with a severe vitamin D deficiency. My symptoms have been very much like PCS - dizziness, debilitating fatigue, inability to think straight, spaciness, headaches, aches and pains etc. Initially, I thought that the PCS had come back. I'm now on a three month prescription dose of D3 to bring my levels up to normal.

So if you are able to request a blood test (not sure how it works in the US) it could be worth getting your vitamin D levels checked. It seems to me that having the correct level would help some of the symptoms perhaps?
