There are people today, archiving many vintage books, and catalogs, with illustrations, etc onto DVD using .pdf formats.
I found one in Canada, and purchased 3 of them to start.
Their listings are just fascinating. Also very educational, and
so compact you can put it on electronic media, and enjoy anytime.
I am using mine as art reference information for some work I am
beginning again. But they are so entertaining, they can stand alone IMO as fun as well as educational.

Good for a rainy day, when you are housebound with illness, or
craving some creative ideas....
