I Can Relate
I have similar symptoms I would have muscle spasms on both sides of jaw line. The first PCP I went to said it was lymph nodes I said "aren't those under the jaw line/neck area?"Well a month later I ended up at a jaw specialist because I ended up get a lock, dropped left side jaw.Now a year after it locked and dropped all the inflammation is down and I got MRIs and CBTC Scan for hyper muscles in jaw. This all started after a car accident.
Now my jaw M.D is getting a second opinion on my MRIs and scan.I believe we will be doing a splint therapy I wear at night for 8months.I had severe pain in face, ear, pulse in my ears, hurt to do anything active!Only relief was sleep for about 7 months and now I got a muscle relaxer that helps with the muscles spasms, tension, and anxiety.I am also on a soft feed diet off and on for last year. But I do have neurological problems from accident so we might have symptoms like but not for same reasons. It did take some time to get this part of the puzzle together.Wish you the best
I would suggest if you can to get second even third opinions these days.
