So finally met with my neuro and got my results from the myelogram...they pretty much concurred with the ct I had done injanuary that he told me was unreliable.... here is the results....
T12-L1: no significant abnormality
L1-L2: no significant abnormality
L2-L3: congenitally foreshortned pedicles. No stenosis
L3-L4: congenitally foreshortned pedicles. No stenosis
L4-L5: congenitally foreshortned pedicles. Stable post operative change RIGHT hemilaminotomy. There is disc space narrowing. Recurrent diffuse bulge that extends neural foramina bilaterally. There is mild bilateral neuroforaminal stenosis.
L5-S1: extremely shallow disc bulge without stenosis.
So can anyone explain what it means foreshortned pedicles? What are your alls take on these results? The only thing I noticed different was the bulge at l4-l5 is a bilateral bulge instead of being (R) sided. Any info would bs appreciated.my doc didnt reallu elaborate bc we are continuing the med course until atleast all this insurance and work stuff gets straightned out.
On a bright note, I met with my new pain man. Dr. Earlier this week and she is great! She understood all of my concerns with the tylenol etc. An we are basically goinv to experiment until we find the right combination of meds. It has been such a relief having a dr. That understands and is willing to give me some what of a free range to find the right meds to work!
Anyways any input yall can give will be greatly appreciated as always! Hope everyone is doing well!
