Well, the pedicles are the basal part of each side of the neural arch of a vertebra, connecting the lamina with the centrum. The Lamina is part of the neural arch of a vertebra extending from the pedicle to the median line. The centrum is the body of the vertebra ventral to the neural arch. So I have to ASSUME that "foreshortened" means shortened in the front???

I know ~~ totally confusing, right? But the myelogram doesn't look bad at all. I'm glad you've got a GOOD pain doctor! Thank goodness she's going to work with you on pain meds too. I hope you find a combo that works good for you. And i hope you find it in a hurry, cause I know you're hurting.

If I've confused you about the above, let me know. LOL I'm kinda confused myself. Take care Fireman, and keep us posted. Hugs, Lee
