I have the same problem. However, I do remember rather insignificant injuries to the area- such as lightly brushing into something. It surprises me because I don't think such an insignificant bump should lead to such a big bruise.

With that said, I'd never have imagined in my wildest dreams that stubbing my toe could result in crps.
