Bizi,
You might not need the calcium. Calcium supplements have been linked to heart attacks. Get your calcium from green leafy veggies and salmon.

What researchers found should make supplement-poppers take notice: those who had the highest intake of supplementary calcium — 1400 mg a day or above — had double the risk of dying from any cause and a higher risk of dying from cardiovascular disease than those whose intake was a more moderate 600-1000 mg a day.

Thinking Twice About Calcium Supplements

Quote:
In February, the United States Preventive Services Task Force recommended that postmenopausal women refrain from taking supplemental calcium and vitamin D. After reviewing more than 135 studies, the task force said there was little evidence that these supplements prevent fractures in healthy women.

Moreover, several studies have linked calcium supplements to an increased risk of heart attacks and death from cardiovascular disease. Others have found no effect, depending on the population studied and when calcium supplementation was begun.

DANGERS OF CORAL CALCIUM

Quote:
Coral calcium comes from the bottom of the ocean, known to be contaminated with substances such as lead and mercury, as well as other toxic substances, Dr. Robert Keith, Professor of Nutrition and Foods at Auburn University explained in 2003.

At least two brands tested by Consumer Reports contained amounts of lead greater than California's acceptable standards in 2005, registered dietician Gloria Tsang reported on HealthCastle.
