No, Jordan does the marcaine scalene block for diagnostic purposes. If you respond to that he recommends you try the botox. Both are Ultrasound and EMg guided. I did both with him. the scalene block came out positive but the botox didnt work. The Scalene Block test is subjective as he relies on you telling him how you feel both before and after-so since I wanst in alot of pain beforehand-it was hard for me to tell how much it actually worked. I had a bad reaction to the botox-it actually made my shoulder muscles freeze up.
