They started me on 50 of synthroid and I am to come back in 2 months to the endocrinologist. he ordered repeat blood tests and a scan of the thyroid. He said he felt a nodule on the right side, that is the side that was removed. The thymus scan showed no nodules, but they did not mention if they saw hyperplasia. Drats! I was really praying for hyperplasia and a thymectomy with big hopes for a remission
