Hi Curious to know if Loriann posts on this forum.....wondering what were the complications she had that caused the nerve damage?

Thanks chloecasey
Hi Chloe

I am not sure if LoriAnn is on neurotalk forums but she is on the facebook TOS support group some of us from here are on. For some people nerve damage and paralysis can occur during surgery and this happened to LoriAnn. I haven't had surgery but was warned by my specialist that it was the worst case scenerio if I had surgery. The nerves in the brachial plexus must have been so damaged that the surgery did more harm than good there. My own surgeon is doing every scan and test possible to mentally pre plan my surgery but sometimes things don't show up on tests. LoriAnns story is one of the worst I have heard of apart from botched surgery from bad surgeons. I hope this helps answer your question

Regards
Tracie
