Symptoms can start differently for each person...I went for so many years (just before 8th grade until 4 years ago)with just slow eye focus and reflex reactions ,constipation and my right foot trying to turn sideways and trip me. Nothing has helped the constipation, but l-dopa totally corrects the foot and I walk normally and can even dance! (my PD is hereditary and that may make a difference also).
