Hi Chris,

Yellow saliva and/or bloody saliva can be caused by many things.
Infection in the gums.... build up of bacteria on the teeth and tongue....acid reflux.... post nasal drip..... etc.

Your zirconia crowns are not causing yellow saliva. If the gum tissue is swollen or irritated above the crowns it could be that the crowns do not fit properly but most likely it would be due to an accumulation of plaque.

Do you have bleeding gums throughout your mouth? What is your daily oral hygiene regimen? Do you floss daily? Do you rinse with mouthwash? Do you brush or scrape the debris off of your tongue?

These are called Tori. These are benign bone growths. Usually they are inherited but not everyone in the family will have them. They can also occur if you habitually grind your teeth. If the grinding is the main source then it is wise to work with your dentist to adjust the bite and possibly make you a bite guard.

From when I made the mistake of getting my two front teeth crowned there has been more or less constant bleeding in my mouth and my saliva is always yellow and with the slightest suction in my mouth it can turn to blood. If you remember I just had the dead tooth taken out of my mouth and have the Zirconia crown on the next tooth but there is still this problem with bleeding and yellow saliva and it is really bad every morning I wake up and I am at the end with it now. I personally believe that crowns and my body do not gel and when those two front teeth that where healthy and normal where ground down and crowned my body and mouth has not been happy. I have tried to correct this with removal of PFM crowns and now removed a dead tooth but its still bleeding and causing a meridian energy block I feel. So I am going to try and see and oral medicine specialist and see what can been done here and one way or another I will remove this problem even if I have to take out other teeth, I'm am so sick of it and cant take it anymore. Also very large bone on top gum at either side which dentist says has been caused by grinding and biting down to hard> With what I have said have you come across such bleeding issues and a person that just not accept any tamper with there mouth/teeth. This is what I personally believe is the problem.
