Hi karene ~ I have a compression fracture in the thoracic area too, and it has caused some hunching in my back. It's quite painful to be honest. Plus I have loads of lumbar problems besides.

I usually hang out in the Spinal Disorders forum.

To be honest, I don't think there's much that can be done for the Kyphosis, but I'm not positive. I know it would include basically re-breaking of the back, and undoubtedly putting in rods & screws. Doesn't sound very pleasant to me.
