I have also been to chiropractic neurology. Similar experience. My homework was mostly following a dot with my eye move diagonally upward to the right in short jumps (saccade) then follow in smoothly as it went back down diagonally to the left. This was on the computer in PowerPoint format. At one point he also had me doing spinning exercises and gaze holding.

I felt like what he was doing somewhat made sense (he did a very thorough assessment of eye tracking and balance) and would give me exercises based on where my deficiencies were. Unfortunately I did not see much improvements from these treatments. The chiropractor I saw was very good, honest and explained everything to me; there basically came a point when he told me he tried pretty much everything he could do with little success so there was not much point in continuing.
