I had to use scooters in all my shopping in December. I was really reluctant to have to use one. This is waht I learned. You can't reach products either from the top shelves on from the bottom shelves, You have a hard time getting close enough to the produce to pick out what you want. peole don't get out of your way when your on a scooter, and it is hard to get your groceries from the basket to the checkout counter.
Now I can use the regular cart again. But I always offer help to anyone I see on a scooter. I always ask if they need help getting an item. I don't question why someone is on the scooter, I just have a new respect for those who have to use one.
