I normally get between 8-10 hours although before I started taking Melatonin I would easily sleep 12 hours on my days off and still feel tired when I finally got out of bed.

I never had a problem going to sleep but I'm up numerous times to go to the bathroom, break up a cat fight, let the dog out etc. so even though I could go right back to sleep my quality of sleep was very poor.

Although I still have the interruptions I think the Melatonin is increasing the good sleep phase. Now on my days off I rarely need more than 9 hours sleep, when I nap it is shorter and more refreshing and when I do wake up even during the night I'm don't feel horribly exhausted like I used to.
