Confused vp shunt causing seizures

So Dean has seen Neurologist and just more tests and diagnosis He said he was a complicated case with a lot going on. So they did a nerve conduction test which showed he has severe peripheral neuropathy and rt. ulnar nerve damage in rt. arm. He doesn't have the neuropathy pain like so many do, his is just numbness. which is maybe why he is falling? He is scheduled for a sleep study with EEG on wed. Seizures getting worse, now he is blacking out and falling down. The headaches have gotten better since they took him off Keppra and put him on Lamictal. maybe just not a high enough dose yet so I guess vp shunt working ok and all these symptoms are seizure related? It's so frustrating not knowing why all this is happening
