I'm on more and more meds all the time and it seems like it would be hard to keep it updated, but I really should be more aware of possible interactions.

For me it's imperative that doctors know immediately that I have a pacemaker, that I'm on anticoagulants due to a clotting disorder and have had previous strokes, and that I cannot take antibiotics. It alerts them to check medical history (my list or family) BEFORE they start pumping you with stuff or sending you off to surgery...if you are not conscious, etc.
