Hiya & welcome.

I'm sure our resident expert, Mrs. D. will give you a more detailed answer, but I wanted to say that alcohol induced neuropathy can sometimes be reversed, or at least managed.

Almost immediately, from your post, I can deduct that you will be low(ish) in vit. B12 and B1, which can be corrected with rather cheap high quality vitamins. There are other supplements that may help, like fish oil, magnesium, r-lipoic acid, but B12 and B1 is where I would start.

B12 can be taken orally as methylcobalamine, 5,000 mcg/day, on an empty stomach. B1 can be found as benfotiamine 150mg/day, but again, I hope Mrs. D. will give you more information here.

Secondly, I invite you to read this thread about alcohol induced neuropathy.

Be patient, read around here, try to remain positive (stress is our common enemy), and needless to say, try to remain 100% sober. It took some time to damage your nerves, so it will take some time before they will start to repair. Don't expect immediate change, this will take at least a couple of months.

Good luck.
