RND is Reflex Neurovascular Dystrophy. It is is a general term that Dr Sherry at the Pennsylvania clinic uses. Yes you are right, rsd type 1 falls under rnd. Once it reaches stage 2 and 3, it is no longer considered rnd. But rnd can be more than just one kind of nerve disorder. It doesn't have to just be rsd type 1. So it is a less specific term. It is easier to research using rsd.
