Default remove nerve lesions w/o surgery

Thought this article was interesting. With TOS, it is not uncommon for nerves to have adhesions/lesions on them. Neurolysis is performed to remove them. People with MS have lesions on nerves (but in the brain and CNS) as well. A new study uses engineered WBC's to clean up the nerves and remove the lesions on them ---- restoring the ability to walk, etc. Voltage gated sodium channels are used which I find extremely interesting.

Perhaps in 20 years, people with TOS will have MRI's that visualize the lesions and WBC therapy to remove the lesions can be used instead of surgery.
