I was approved for SSI within two months, then I was removed from SSI when I received an inheritance. Now I've fought for four years to get my SSDI & still haven't won. The fact I received SSI for six years is now not even considered, because they keep using my last date insured against me. I've even shown proof I was disabled well before my last date insured with Drs backing it up. Now they are allowing me to send in more evidence, but I fear nothing will ever please them. The fact they are now going to allow more evidence after my case was closed is a miracle!! I think they really had no other choice when I showed them the judge never spoke to me, the rehab person never spoke to me, and my lawyer thought I was applying for SSI instead of SSDI.

This all happened even after the ALJ judge denied me & appeals board denied me. When I asked the appeals board to show me how I received a fair hearing they couldn't show me this & they knew it. I explained to them at this point I'll just represent myself. I don't want to talk to another lawyer about my case; the minute they hear past the insured date they say NO. Not one lawyer would even bother doing what I did to show I didn't receive a fair hearing & ALL my evidence was never even looked at.
