I remember you from the old BT board. I remember because I had been a paramedic that was injured on the job and eventually lost my license because of my injury. I guess when you see someone that once did the job you did you some how remember them.
Anyways, I am sorry to hear that you are dealing with such hassles now. It's a shame that the pharmacy is being so ignorant. When you are with a pain management doctor whom writes your scripts or otherwise you shouldn't have to answer to the pharmacy. If they have a question then they should be calling your doctor and not hassling you. At least that is my opinion.
My pharmacy doesn't question my prescriptions the problem I have with them is they seem to loose the faxes that are faxed for refill request or the phone calls aren't made because they are too busy... Well, Gee I would think they need to hire more help then...
I would agree with your thoughts that a call to your doctor is in order... Maybe he can solve this issue with the pharmacy...
