You might try taking acetyl carnitine daily... as that facilitates burning fatty acids instead of glucose. Bodybuilders and athletes use it for this purpose.

Interesting, I'll have to look into taking acetylcarnitine. Might be a good replacement for the glucose tablets I've been using.
