Sorry if i wasnt clear . I had the early stages of some spread in my left arm when it happened to me, it was why I was so scared... I didn't mean spread as in brand new spread, more that I was scared of the CRPS being enraged in that hurt area and it staying as painful as it felt after the injury. My arm in general was a bit worse for a week or so, and I can imagine that in an already very painful area it must be horrible. I took some tramadol for a few days, which did help a bit with the pain. To be honest, even paracetemol helps with injury-type pain, which surprised me as I've got so used to nothing much helping the CRPS pain...

The CRPS has stayed in my arm, and a year later it is more consistent in terms of soreness and general pain, but my damaged thumb nail area is no worse than my other fingers, and I think that's positive considering what I thought had happened!

Hopefully yours will settle back down to the 'normal' and not be any worse than before.

Bram.
