I don't think I would be going to the Y if the membership didn't come with my insurance. We can afford it without the free membership but it's not something that I would normally pursue. A lot of the Y's have an aquatic class that is geared towards people with MS, other people in the class also but it's good for the MS. So the local MS society pays for that one class. If there isn't a Y and some gym in town has an aquatic class that is geared for more of the disabled, they might pay for the one class. Now it only paid for one session which lasts so many weeks, If you want to take the next session, you have to pay for it yourself.
