Default Need to go back to work. Doctors aren't helping at all. What should I do?

Got a concussion a month ago. Have been basically sitting on the couch all day, sleeping 12hr a night, no TV, no physical activity except long walk once in a while. Been taking high doses of vitamins an fish oil while eating healthy.

Today I still have most my symptoms.
Really bad Vertigo when changing positions, dizziness, headaches off and on, short term memory problems, can't make decisions, irritability, fatigue

I went back to the doctor yesterday and he said there's nothing I can do but rest. How true is this? It seems like after another month of wasting my life ill still be in the same position as I am now. Should I go to physio or something?

I've been off work for a month and need to go back so I don't get fired. It's construction work with long hours 7 days a week and very physical. But I also make a lot of money.

Would going back to work make symptoms permanent?
