Hi Angie,

Your description of your symptoms for 5 weeks post op of a tooth extraction are not normal. It would be best to consult with an oral surgeon (not a general dentist) about your situation.

I also read your other post ..... Do not rinse with anything other than salt water. Do not put any mouthwash what so ever inside the socket as it will cause it to burn and become very irritated.

Seek help from an oral surgeon as there is something going on that you cannot treat yourself.
