I've suffered with constipation for several years now and blamed it all on PD. Well, my problem now appears to be fixed.

It was probably due to a statin (Simvastatin to be exact) that a heart doctor prescribed for me several years ago. Looking back at it I can now see that the constipation grew progressively worse in the months following my first dose of the statin and has gotten progressively better to the point of having almost totally disappeared now that I have stopped taking it.

If you're taking a statin I suggest you think hard and long about why you're taking it. The many bad side effects just weren't worth the grief to me.
