Just an update...

I went to my daughter's sports evening yesterday with the family and although I was careful I feel very old and stiff and tired today. This morning I can feel that there is a muscle on the left side of my chest that is tight and sore, and it's in the place I first had the pains, so I'm thinking it is indeed a muscular/nerve thing.

I'm seeing one of the GPs today (not mine obviously, he was a 3 week wait ) for a check up before we travel, which hopefully will give me some peace of mind. Although if it happens again I'm pretty sure it's still going to feel like something very serious. Suppose I'll just have to wait and see, but I hate knowing that I'll have to try not to panic while every bit of me is screaming that it's my heart. I don't fancy the inevitable drama and helicopter ride that will occur if we have to call 999 from the island.

Thanks for all the messages

Bram.
