Magnesium.... have you done this? This mineral often releases and prevents muscle cramps.

Morton now makes a magnesium lotion...available on Amazon ($7.98) and
at WalMart ($5.98). And I just saw a Sears ad... $20.00! And
$9.69 from Morton's website directly.

Apply to the muscle areas you have problems with before the cramping starts. This product also reduces swelling for me.
Use about a quarter's diameter on the area and rub in well.
Only apply to intact skin.

For the toes apply at the shin and calf level...that is where those muscles start. A little on the instep, but you don't need to apply to the toes themselves.
