I couldn't figure out how to edit my post but I forgot to include why I am here. I suffer from mental illness, I have just been diagnosed with diabetes (most likely type 2), and I've had neurological issues for about 5.5 years now.
What mainly brought me to the forum was that I have recently gotten the results from a brain MRI I had in early 2012. The doctor recently told me I should have had a 6 month follow-up because they found "some lesions" on my brain but no one notified me until now.. I am now waiting to get a second MRI done and the anxiety is killing me. The doctor did tell me that he didn't think it was MS and he is sending me for a cortisol blood test as well. He said that it's nothing to worry about but how can non-specific "lesions" be something not to worry about?
I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice or insight into my current situation or perhaps if any of you are also in a similar situation maybe send me a message.
Thanks!
