I'm not convinced my IBS isn't CRPS either as I get a burning hot patch under my right ribs that hurts like hell to touch and is red and swollen, always comes along with the stomach spasms. I first got this before the CRPS diagnosis and therefore it's not been linked as it was a different specialist. They thought it was my gallbladder (I faint from the pain of it) but it wasn't, so I got the stock diagnosis of IBS.

I really hope you feel better soon xx
So sorry to hear that you have these spasms too Kathy. My deliveries were vaginal so I don’t have the scar but here I am some 16 hours later and it’s still happening. In addition I am have spasms randomly all over (my arms, legs, etc). I tried Baclofen and I couldn’t wait for it to be out of my system. I was excited to get it because I had heard so many good things about it, but it literally made my symptoms MUCH worse, for reason that are unknown to me. All I can say is that it was a VERY long night. But thanks for the idea though.

I too have had what seems to be IBS, but I never had these issues before a few months ago. Part of me thinks that at least part of that is from the high dose gabapentin that I take, and not sure I could live without. My spasticity issues seem to be getting worse and worse, along with digestive issues. My body feels like it’s vibrating long before full on spasms occur. The vibrating is moving into a more constant than sporadic. What’s happening in my belly is not too painful (yet), but really concerns me given the spasms elsewhere on my body. I even feel weird sensations in my tongue too.

I am in touch with the burn you speak of. That does hurt like hell. Mine was my stomach and just having more of the burning sensation in general in my legs too.

I could have sworn months ago that I had a gallbladder issue, but had an ultra sound and was told all was ok. Now months later I no longer have what felt like a baby’s foot under my rib, but now have full on digestive issues. One minute diarrhea so bad I can barely make it to the restroom, and the next I feel like I’m going to throw up and have reflux crazy bad.

I just feel like my symptoms are showing in different ways now. And the old symptoms more pronounced. All this started in my right leg/foot in 2004, and now it’s full on and anywhere it chooses to rear its ugly head. I’m not at all sure what to do about these new issues and getting my doc not to be overwhelmed by me, but hell, I’m overwhelmed!

Thanks again for sharing and letting me share. I really do appreciate it!
