It makes sense.

Many people with gluten issues have candida issues also.

SCD is great to start with because it starves out bad bacteria.

I've heard good things about the candida diet too but have not done it myself.

Six weeks is not too early to tell. Some people can tell in a week. Some people can tell in 18 months... it all depends on the person and their symptoms.
