Smile Hi Kathy!

It's great to have you!
I'm wondering what this 'new technology' is that your Dr is speaking of. I guess this is something you'll be able to research while you are in the process of your pre-surgical conditioning. Drill the doc for details!

Losing weight can be a real joy . Other than the basics of watching your carb intake, no sugar, sweets, etc., that's about all that comes to mind. Others will chime in with some good suggestions.

One thing that popped into my mind is -- have you had your thyroid checked? In my case it was discovered via bloodwork that I was hypothyroid. There's a slew of symptoms that come with this condition, one being weight gain and fatigue.
I began losing weight as soon as I was put on the proper medication.
So, if by any chance your thyroid is running slowly, this might be a means of dropping some of the weight.

You've come to a great place for support, so stick around and we'll be your support team while you endeavor to reach your goal! Feel free to vent too! This is a good place to bring your frustrations

Caring,
Rae
