Please make sure you keep with your doctor to wean off cymbalta. I took it for awhile also, and it didn't do much for me either. My doctor reduced the dose slowly and I didin't have any issue with withdrawls. Getting off any medication that you have taken for awhile, it is best to get the doc. involved.
