Book UK's worst case of Myasthenia Gravis

Hilary, the Brave World of Hilary Pole
by Dorothy Clarke Wilson

It's been quite some time since I read this amazing book about Hilary Pole. At the time, this young lady was the worst case of Myasthenia Gravis in the UK. Quite frankly, I've never heard of a case like this since. I suppose we can credit not only higher knowledge of MG, but newer medications as well. It was also "rumoured" that she was injected with overdoses of anti-cholinesterase.

The book was out of print at the time but I did find it on one of the many internet book stores that sold rare or out of print books. It appears that it is might still be available. I highly suggest that if you are a reader, you try to get hold of this book.

I would like to dig up the book, which is likely at the bottom of one of my storage containers...and post some excerpts, but I suspect there could be copyright laws. If so, there is no reason why I can't put a few paragraphs in my own words...
