I think for me burning is triggered by certain food intolerances.
MSG, nightshades and some spices. I also get major foot symptoms from red wine.

Also the magnesium lotion is by far the best also for me. Better than oral magnesium, because parts of the body may have reduced circulation (esp the feet), and oral mag cannot reach them. The lotion therefore bypasses this situation and opens up the blood vessels locally.

When I have terrible burning (sometimes in hot weather) I use Biofreeze. It always works for me.
